Hi there! I'm Bridget, the owner and facilitator of Animalia Classroom (pronounced an-uh-MAY-lee-uh), a new business created to bring all things zoology education into primary schools, pre-schools and OSHC centres in a fun workshop style.
I have an Honours degree in Science (Animal Behaviour) and a Masters degree in Animal Science, along with a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration.
Currently, I teach swimming and water safety to young children while also studying Auslan (Australian Sign Language) in my spare time.
Additionally, I hold a current Working with Children Check, Apply First Aid certificate, have completed full RRHAN training and National Child Safe training.
My Founding Story
I founded this business to combine my love of animals, science and education. Through my studies, experience working with children, and journey as a parent, I’ve developed a strong commitment to creating meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity and foster connection. Growing up with a parent who was a teacher also gave me an insight into the extra work that happens beyond the classroom. This inspired me to support educators by providing engaging, curriculum-aligned resources that complement my hands-on workshops.
